Gold & Silver Morning Update 11/4/2025
A challenging overnight session for the precious metals as expected following yesterday’s very poor performance during NY trade. A -0.60% flush lower at the illiquid Globex open set the tone, stopping out Chinese buyers from the night before and so it was understandable that they didn’t return. A two-hour decline for US yields, following a breakout for the S&P futures below yesterday’s low, then helped gold & silver bounce into the Asian close, but both metals have since been squashed by big sellers at the European and COMEX opens. Really nothing positive to say here with US yields now rising again and with gold now re-eyeing the overnight low.
