Gold & Silver Afternoon Update 11/12/2025 | The Bregar Minute

Daily Update | Erik Bregar | 12 Nov, 2025

Indeed continued strength for stocks and silver overnight following yesterday’s bullish NY closing prints.  Gold surprisingly lagged though, almost as if Chinese market participants were boycotting it (understandable after they got stopped out in NY trade yesterday) and almost as if the trading algorithms were reprogrammed to start inversely following the USD and US yields again, which choppily edged higher.  Across-the-board precious metal buying at this morning’s COMEX open is helping to keep intra-day gold & silver momentum positive, but the dollar and yields have up-ticked again as well (perhaps some nerves creeping in here ahead of today’s mountain of Fed-speak starting with Williams at 9:20amET).  Paulson speaks at 10am, Waller at 10:20am, Bostic at 12:15, Miran at 12:30pm, and Collins at 4pm.
